Well as you guys know, I’ve been dealing with a barrage of people commenting and making ridiculous claims that I need to be prayed for and converted to Christianity because what I believe is fake. As you also know, I have not censored any of the comments that have been made, they have all been approved and can either be seen in the “About” section of this site or in the article “They are praying for me”. Unfortunately they have censored my posts, basically because they feel weak Christians that learn of this site might actually believe something else than what they are forced to believe. Anyway, here’s a small repost from a site that can’t just let this thing be…
Hello Everyone!! Any of you remember my post on ‘Praying 4 the Buddhists? Well, this is just a thought:
The guy I was talking about, preciousmetal, came over to my site and left a couple of the most ludicrous comments I have ever seen. He criticized my blog, told me I was misguided, and wrote a post called “They are ‘praying’ for me”. At first, I was really mad at him; he was making fun of the Christians. But then I remembered that as Christians, we are always being persecuted. We should deal with it by remembering we should not care about what others think of us; it is God whom we should be thinking about. Oh, one other thing. My brother, who is a computer expert, set my comments so that this man cannot comment on my site without moderation. Everyone else can, so feel free to leave comments!! And, we are praying for this man. We hope he will accept the Gospel and become a strong Christian. This is just a thought…

One thing I don’t understand…and it isn’t just what is going on here…but if all this guy True Christian and want the best for you and everyone else…why he is continually spewing hate on your site. If his religion is all about love why is he being so mean and nasty and of all things bearing false witness about what you have said and hate mongering?
*shakes head*
He obviously knows nothing about Buddhism. It isn’t so much a religion as a philospy. There are many Christians that I know who believe in God an pray to God but still follow Buddhist teachings because the Buddha was all about helping others and doing the right thing. I think some people mis-understand that all Buddhists pray to Buddha…while I guess that may be true for some, I suppose, that isn’t what Buddhism is about. I don’t know of a Buddhist (personally) that does that…but I admit I was taught by those who study Tibetan Buddhism…
All I can say is if you are intent on attacking someone, the least you can do is learn a lot about what you are attacking…and that if you are just going to be mean, well then that kinda is counter productive. All that will do is put people on the defensive and will never hear what message you are trying to say.

I don’t understand it either, but it’s over I guess. He says he doesn’t want to “argue” with me anymore I guess. I never felt like I was arguing really, just that what I was saying was falling on deaf ears. None the less, it is over, I hope.
