There is no beginning but…

…this is my first post to this new blog. It was recommended to me that I should start one, thanks to Rod @ http://www.theworsthorse.net for the recommendation. Thanks even more so to Rod for giving me a shot to write my first article, “Precious Metal”, which is where the name of this blog came from.

There seems to be a growing number of Buddhist based blogs out there, so why start another one right? Well, just like anything else, it’s nice to have different opinions and voices. And it’s time I make mine heard, and whether you like it, love it or hate it, this blog will continue to grow.

We all have the right to express ourselves, and this is my way of expressing the things I hold dear. Whether that means my spirituality, the politics of suffering (what we know of in the US as Democracy) and just about everything else under the sun.

I’m not going to pretend like I really know alot about Buddhism, I am relatively new to the practice (under 2 years). I am not claiming to be a know it all about anything, nor will . These blog posts are my opinions, based on things I’ve learned through research, study or whatever you want to call it. It is my only intent to help others who may be on the same path, and who have the same questions as I. Maybe you have some answers for me?!?

So sit back, relax and try not to let my hooks go in to deep, I battle the hooks all the time!
